Mr. Fryer brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in insurance and financial services across the Asia-Pacific region. Most recently, he served as Regional Chief Financial Officer at Allianz Asia Pacific, where he has been instrumental in strengthening financial discipline and spearheading strategic transformation since 2019. His leadership extends across multiple board appointments, including Chairperson of the Board for Allianz Life Thailand and Singapore, and President Commissioner of Allianz Life Indonesia. Earlier in his career, Mr. Fryer held senior financial and actuarial leadership roles across Southeast Asia, including Chief Financial Officer positions at Prudential in both Vietnam and Indonesia. In these roles, he oversaw multi-framework financial reporting, risk and capital management, product development, strategic investments, and broad operational functions such as procurement and treasury. He also led actuarial, product management and held senior positions at Manulife and ING Australia, consistently delivering financial clarity and strategic alignment in dynamic markets.
